Humility Changes the World!

Humility is the Way!

For every one who exalts oneself will be humbled and everyone who humble oneself will be exalted.
Luke 14:11

Those who exalted themselves had Jesus nailed to the Cross, but humility leads to the Resurrection.

When a person exalts oneself they block the knowledge of God, they block the wisdom of God, and they block the Love and Peace Divine. They are not teachable.

Jesus is dangerous to the self-exalted!

Jesus is God the Son, and He chose to be born as an ordinary child. Jesus was raised as an ordinary person. However, He taught from a place of Divine Knowledge, Wisdom, Peace, and Love! Those who were self-exalted could not refute Him, hence, destroying Him was thought to be the way to destroy the message.

The self-exalted were wrong!

We know the history, on the third day, the Divine Teacher and His Divine message, rose from the dead! We are still being challenged by this Person and His Message!

To find true Peace and Love, we must be humble, that is, teachable! Let Jesus be in control!

We Live The Kingdom!

Seek First The Kingdom of God!

“And behold, people will come from east to west, and from north to south and sit at the table in the Kingdom of God. And behold, some are last who will be first, some are first who will be last.”
Luke 13:29-30

Jesus wants us to have a personal relationship with the Father, the Creator. In doing so, we are following His example. This relationship requires an ongoing communication with the Divine.

We cannot have a relationship without communication!

We do this by celebrating our religious rituals from the heart, we do this by reading and studying God’s Word, and we do this as we treat one another! Here we find our ongoing communication with the Father.

Now is Kingdom time!

It is the present moment that leads to Kingdom living. The last will be first! The present moment is the Time of Salvation! It is not our actions in the past, it is how we live right now!

Live the Kingdom!

The Love of Jesus!

The Fire of Love!

“I came to cast fire upon the earth; and would that it were already kindled! I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how I am constrained until it is accomplished!
Luke 12:49-50

God became one of us to bring real peace to the world. However, the Fire of Love had to consume false love!

True Christian Love is modeled on Jesus. This is the love that is willing to die for the beloved!

The Fire of the Cross!

There seems to have been no other way than the Crucifixion to destroy the lie of the status quo! The life, and the message of Jesus, went against how authority functioned.

To eliminate the message, the messenger had to be eliminated!

This action by those who wanted to destroy the messenger failed!

True Love Rose From The Dead!

We must allow that true love to reign in our hearts. Even if we are ostracized, if we allow this love to reign, we will have peace.

We have the example Maximilian Kolbe! In the Nazi Concentration Camp true love reign when he gave his life for the beloved fellow prisoners.

The Fire of Love at work in the World!

We probably will not have to be as heroic as Maximilian, but life will give us challenges that we will have to decide between convenience and true love!

Jesus Wants To Be With Us!

“Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes; truly I say to you, he will gird himself and have them sit at table, and he will come and serve them.”
Luke 12: 37

Life is good!

This parable of Jesus is so true in the real spiritual world. Jesus wants to wait on us, but we must be ready to receive Him!

If we ever have to question, why does Jesus not come to me? We must ask ourselves, what are we doing to block His entrance? He is always available to serve us with Peace and Love!

What blocks Jesus entrance?

When we are hurt and we return the action.
When we judge someone.
When we participate in evil against individuals or groups.
All of the above and any action against Divine Love and Peace are road blocks that keep Jesus from serving us.

Today, may we commit ourselves to creating an open door to Jesus!

Acts of Love Are Forever!

“But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul is required of you; and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’

“Rich toward God”, powerful words of challenge to lifestyle. God has provided all, our life breath, our mental capacity, and all that matters. What is required of us, Love.

One who abides in love, abides in God, and God abides in them.

If what we value the most is living a life of love, then our treasure will never fail!

Possessions in the world are very important, but they fail! We must prepare ourselves for our financial wellbeing, however, the key is, how do we acquire these things.

Is love the way we treat others? Things acquired in this way connects us to the Divine, and we have inner peace! This peace does not fail!

Lord, Come To Our Assistance!

Lord, Make Haste To Help Us!

“Give us each day our daily bread.”
Luke 11:3

When a Disciple ask Jesus to give us a prayer, he was speaking for all people, everywhere, and for all time! We need to enter the intimate world of Jesus, for in Him, we find peace.

The Prayer of Jesus is one of intimacy with Father God, Papá Dios! God the Father is our Daddy God who loves us unconditionally. Jesus revealed this Divine Relationship with us, and it is awesome! It is mind blowing that that the Almighty Creator wants a personal relationship with us! This reality must change us!

The problem is , the Lord’s Prayer becomes something that is often a meaningless recitation of words, rather than an intimate, meaningful, communication with Daddy.

May we renew our relationship with Daddy, the Almighty Creator, and know each one of us is special, and that we treat each other as member of this love relationship with the Intimate Divine One!

We are One Family under Daddy! May we live the Love, and Message of the Lord Jesus!

Welcome Jesus!

Hospitality is Love!

“Now as they went on their way, He entered a village; and a woman named Martha received Him into her house.”
Luke 10:38

Love is more than a feeling! We love by the way we treat people. Today we enter into the mystery of Jesus entering the home of Martha and her family. This holy event models for us love in action.

Jesus found a home where he could rest!Jesus was always taking care of others, teaching in the synagogues, preaching in the mountains and the fields, feeding the multitude and healing the sick. Martha and Mary participated in the Divine Work of Jesus by welcoming Him in their home.

Welcoming participated in the Divine Plan!

Martha’s home was a physical place, however the true home was Martha’s heart!

Can we do the same? Our homes and our hearts need not be perfect, Jesus will change our reality with His presences.

Will Jesus find a welcome place in our hearts and homes? Will we allow Him to change our lives?

Be Jesus, Serve Jesus!

Be a Neighbor of Jesus!

(Jesus said) “Which of these three, do you think, proved neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?” He said, “the one who showed mercy on him.” And Jesus said to him, ”Go and do likewise.”
Luke 10: 36-37

Jesus is very demanding! He has no time for fake religious observance. In the Parable of the Good Samaritan, He tells us that we must love individuals in need. Life can be cruel! We may not be able to change that reality, but regardless of who the person who suffers, we must be Jesus to them.

St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta said, “Never worry about numbers. Help one person at a time, and always start with the person nearest you.”

Mother Teresa’s words are not “Pie in the sky” religion, rather, this is how she lived and challenges us to do the same!

Who do we need to be the Good Samaritan to today?

Prepare the Way of the Lord!

The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name!”
Luke 10:17

The Seventy-two disciples of Jesus were sent to prepare the way of the Lord. They had tremendous power to do this because they had the Power of The Name of Jesus! He was with them on the mission. They were not promoting themselves, that would be useless, but they carried Jesus with them and the demons were made powerless. Jesus had a vision that is so powerful:

“I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.”
Luke 10:18

Where the 72 went, and where they were received, evil was crushed!

We are the 72 today!

When we promote Jesus wherever we go, we carry Divine Power to change the world. We do this in our homes, in our churches, in our work places and wherever we socialize.

When we promote Jesus, when we promote Divine Love, things change for the better!

Live Love Now!

Begin Again In Jesus!

Jesus said to him, “No one who sets a hand to the plow and looks to what was left behind is fit for the Kingdom of God.”
Luke 9:62

Each day is a new beginning!

The Kingdom of God is a Now Thing! Our focus must be on loving those we encounter now! What we did in the past, though it has impact on our present, we must let go of because it may block the command of building the Kingdom of Love in the present moment. Jesus wants us to make His presence alive in the here and now, not our past issues!

Let go and let God!

Jesus took care of our past mistakes, this is usually what we concentrate on. Jesus brought our past to the Cross and it has been washed clean. Trust Him and let us move forward!

Let us be Kingdom People Now!
