Live Jesus!
Listen to Him!
This is my Son, chosen one; listen to Him.
Luke 9:35
If only we would listen to Jesus!
The Human Family has put itself in difficult situations. We destroy each other. We often do not respect one another. We sit in judgement and condemn each other. In other words, we do not follow what the Father commands us, listen to the Son.
We cannot change each other, but we can allow for the words of Jesus to change us, and in doing so, change how we treat everyone.
Are we listening to the Son, or are we doing our own thing? Doing our own thing has not worked well over human history. Let us be different!
May we hear Jesus, and be His presence in the world!

Choose Love!
Focus Like Jesus!
Jesus answered him, “It is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.’”
Luke 4:8
It is so good to be in the Season of Lent; it is a time to get back to the basics!
There are so many distractions in the world that it can be so easy to lose our focus. If we follow Jesus, our focus is on worshiping and serving the Lord. That means we have to treat people with love. Of course, it is not a big issue if we treat people who are kind to us with kindness and love. However, the real challenge is to treat people who are unkind or even mean to us with kindness and love.
Do we serve the Lord God, or do we serve our emotions, our prejudices?
We need Lent!
It is easy to fall to the temptation to treat people and ourselves in a self-serving way, instead of the Jesus Way!
We need Lent to refocus our lives, because it is so easy to be a follower of evil instead of good! We see this issue in our world today, may we be different!
Have a blessed First Sunday of Lent!

May Hearts Be Fruitful!
Purify Our Hearts Lord!
…For from the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks
Luke 6:45
The heart is so important! From the heart we can build each other up, help soothe someone in their difficulties and make a positive change in our world.
The purer the heart, the better fruit it will produce!
Heart-work is so important, but we cannot do it on our own. The heart often needs to be broken and be healed by Divine Love. Otherwise the ego can harden it and it remains bitter, it remain fruitless.
Let our hearts be like Jesus’ Heart!
Jesus’ Heart is always being broken, yet He does not give up on us! Let us not give up ourselves and forgive ourselves and everyone and be a means of healing for each other.
The 2nd of March 2022 begins Lent, our 40 days of prayer and sacrifice in preparation for the Resurrection Sunday and the Easter Season. May our hearts be surrendered and molded to be like Jesus’ Heart and be fruitful! May our Lenten Exercise help us bring more, peace, joy and love to the World!

The Way of Love!
Jesus is the Model!
“But I say to those who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you…”
Luke 6:27
Jesus preached the Revolution of Love and it would lead to His death on the Cross!
Jesus would never ask us to do something He would not do!
“Father, forgive them because they do not know what they are doing.”
Luke 23:34
From the Cross, Jesus forgave those who hated Him; Jesus forgave those who hated Love! Jesus is Love!
Can we be Love?
This is constant challenge for those who follow Jesus. It is so easy to follow the world and hate those who hate us, but as believers, this is not acceptable!
We fall down, but we get up again! Let us get up from hate and soar with Love!

Be Poor in Spirit!
Radiate the Lord!
And Jesus lifted up His eyes on His disciples, and said:
“Blessed are you poor, for yours is the kingdom of God…”
Luke 6:20
The blessings and the woes in the Sermon of Jesus on the Plain is being like Jesus, or being opposed to Jesus lifestyle. Jesus models for us the life of peace and love.
Material things are important, we need to have food to eat, we need shelter from the elements, and we even need places of socializing with others. But Jesus tells us that these things must not be the core of our lives. Treat things correctly and we will find peace and love!
Jesus models this for us!
Jesus became one of us!
He is God the Son, we cannot get wealthier or more powerful than that! He chose to live in the Holy Family of Nazareth. His earthly needs were met and He brought the power of God wherever He went.
Being Poor in Spirit is living a life modeled on Jesus!

Total Trust!
“Put out into the deep, and let down your net for a catch.”
Luke 5:4
Peter was the fisherman and he knew his job. This was not the time to let down your net to fish. It did not make sense. But Peter did it anyway!
Total Trust!
Peter’s surrendering what made sense for him, even when it went against all of his training and experience, gave Jesus the opportunity to show that He is Lord! Peter’s humbly following Jesus’ instructions revealed to him Jesus and his own unworthiness.
Jesus made another miracle. This however took much more time. Jesus would make this humble fisherman the Head Apostle of a worldwide movement that leads to salvation. Perhaps that is a bigger miracle, if we can say that, compared to the extraordinary catching of fish.
Peter’s transformation was gradual, and full of personal failures, but it was accomplished! All it took for him to be transformed was surrendering his will to Jesus!
Be humble and let Jesus work the miracle in our lives.

Love is All!
Be Love Regardless of the Situation!
Jesus passed through the midst of them and went away.
Luke 4:30
Jesus preached truth and it was all about love. However, He often had to deal with the opposite, hate. It seems that love demands that one change one’s live and many somehow think that killing the Messenger would kill the Message that demands a whole new way of relationship toward all things.
The message of love that Jesus teaches can not be destroyed. Even the Passion and the Cross that Jesus had to experience because of the Truth; Love is All, could not stop its power.
Love and live in peace!
Jesus told us to love everyone, even those who hate us. Love is All!

Be Christlike!
All Is Fulfilled!
And He began to say to them, “Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”
Luke 4:21
Can we live the fulfillment?
Jesus said:
He came to bring good news to the poor!
He came to proclaim release to captives!
He came to bring recovery of sight to the blind!
He came to set liberty those who are oppressed!
Living in Jesus brings fulfillment to His promises!
As we begin each day, may we ask ourselves how will we accomplish Jesus in all of our interactions?
Before we go to bed each night, may we look at our thoughts, words and deeds done that day, and see if Jesus was lived in them?
May we pray for forgiveness for our shortcomings and as we wake, commit ourselves to be Christlike in the new day.
May we always take Jesus seriously and always be like Him!
