The Lord wants to heal us!
Jesus is our healer, and we so desperately need Him. Humankind seems to be constantly going through some struggle, and stressors are everywhere. The Lord makes our lives bearable and let us praise Him for all He has done for us.
Today, our Gospel Portion is taken from St. John 14:21-26. We will meditate on
“And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.”
John 14:3
There is a blessed assurance that we will have a home with Jesus. He came to be with us, and He will never forsake us. However, we will suffer in our lives. We know that there is one person who is also God who will be with us. We may fall, but He will never fail us!
It is this hope that helps us find peace when everything around us seems insane.
Hold onto Jesus! He is our way to peace and serenity. Trust Him, He is for us, and He will never leave!
