Trust In the Lord!

The Lord is always with us; bring all our cares to the Lord!

Happy Feast of All Souls!

It is a wonderful time of the year! And it is wonderful to remember and pray for all those who meant so much to us, and, out of Christian Charity, to pray for others that no one remembers except for us.

Our Gospel Portion is very helpful in understanding why we know that our prayers are important. Our Portion is St. John 6:37-40, and we will meditate on

“And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I should lose nothing of all that He has given Me, but raise it up at the last day.”
John 6:39

We belong to God, regardless of whether we are living on Earth or have passed away. We know that death is not the end, but rather a passage to be with God forever. Jesus promised us that He will not lose us, and we hold onto His promises.

We pray for our departed loved ones as we pray for our loved ones that are with us on this side of eternity.

Prayer is our connection! My mother transitioned over 40 years ago, but she is still with me in prayer.

Let us use this month, as we busy ourselves with all the wonderful activities of the Holiday Season, to remember that our departed loved ones are with us! They are not lost; they are with the Lord!

Have a blessed November!

Jesus Rose and He Takes Us With Him!

Alleluia Amen!

A glorious day to be alive!

Jesus, who died on the Cross, on the third day rose from the dead and spent 40 days working with His Disciples and then Ascended to the Father to reign until He returns, at the end of the ages, is our marvelous reality!

Let us look at a section of one  of the Resurrection accounts,

While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel;

And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here but has risen.” Luke 24:4-5

Jesus is Risen!

The impossible happened! A very dead person rises from the dead and He takes us with Him!

Jesus was not born for Himself! He did not grow up to adulthood for Himself!  He did not teach us for Himself! He did not suffer for Himself! He did not die on the Cross for Himself! And He did not rise from the dead for Himself! Jesus did it all for us!

What will we do for Him? We have fifty days to celebrate His resurrection. What will we do to change our lives as a gift in response to the radical love that Jesus reveals in His 33 years of His earthly life?

Make this Eastertide 2025 awesome!

We Will Follow the Lord!

Jesus is Our Hope!

By your endurance you will gain your lives.
Luke 21:19

Life gets challenging! Many times we prepare for one thing, something positive, and yet we get the result of something negative, totally counter to our understanding. We have a choice to make, give up, or trust in Jesus and move forward. This is endurance!

We move forward in our lives, hoping to be instruments of Divine Love, yet doors keep closing in front of us. We still keep moving forward, we keep doing acts of love, yet may see no positive results, but we do not stop! This is endurance!

Why do we keep getting up when we are pushed down by people, places, and/or things? We choose to be who we are, not who others want us to be!

We follow Jesus who went to the Cross because He was/ is truly Himself.

Jesus is the Model of Endurance!

Jesus was nailed to the Cross, He died forgiving those who lied about Him, abused Him, but because He Endured, He Rose from the died and is with us who follow His Cross!

We will rise!

Peace.
