Happy Feast of the Baptism of the Lord!
I am the Lord, I have called you in to righteousness, I have taken you by the hand and kept you; I have given you as a covenant to the people, a light to the nations, to open the eyes that are blind, to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, from the prison those who sit in darkness.

Today we conclude the Season of Christmas. As all things in 2020, it was not a normal celebration of this Holy Season as much as we have been accustomed to over the years of our lives. This was a season of much more reflection and contemplation. Hopefully it was a season of peace.
Today’s Feast reminds us of who we are who have been baptized into Christ. As Isaiah the Prophet stated above, “I have given you as a covenant to the people”. Baptism has made us other Christs! What an awesome mystery! The Father wants to say about us “Listen to him or her!”
A better world begins when we live our Baptism!
We enter Ordinary Time until Ash Wednesday.
