The next day again John was standing with two of his disciples; and he looked at Jesus as He walked, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!”
John 1: 35-36
We have entered the Holy Time we call Ordinary, meaning numbered time. This is the time between and after the Holy Seasons of Christmas and Easter. Today we have the example of St. John the Baptist. He gives us a wonderful example of humility that we must use to be real disciples of Jesus. St. John had a tremendous Ministry and he would let it go because life is found in Jesus.
If we follow St. John, we would not let ourselves get in the way of pointing people to Our Lord!
These are challenging times, may we be humble like St. John the Baptist and let our lives direct people to Jesus. May our actions be alway acts of love.
