Embrace Joy!

A message from a dear Friend:

Let YOUR HEART overflow with JOY. Celebrating the birth of Jesus is a blessing. Center yourself around who God is. Check your actions, words and emotions – align them with God. As you engage with others you can see what you like by the treatment you give others. You were fearfully and wonderfully – made on purpose with a purpose. God’s favor is for a lifetime – filled with many blessings. Renew, restore and refresh. Enjoy all your activities today and everyday and may your heart be filled with God’s peace. Share that PEACE with others and be a blessing. You cannot change yesterday, but you can make today better. You matter and you are loved. Blessings

Living Christmas

For with God nothing will be impossible.
Luke 1:37

Happy 4th Sunday of Advent!

We have almost completed our Advent Journey 2020. The words above from the Archangel Gabriel to Mary are so meaningful. Mary surrendered her life to the Divine and conceived Salvation in our Lord Jesus. Her YES changed the course of human history and with the aid of her husband Joseph, our Salvation would be protected and raised to adulthood and Jesus, their Son, would destroy the power of sin and death. Because of Mary and Joseph, the Teacher, Our Lord Jesus Christ, could teach us, by word and example, what Love is!

We are approaching the Great Feast of the Nativity. This is the Feast when the Almighty became one of us so that we can join the great Love Affair of the Divine. It also reminds us that there is no limit to what God can do in us and through us to heal the world.

Say yes to the Divine One!

Let us recommit ourselves in living Christmas, living Divine Love all of the days of our lives. May we make Heaven come to Earth as we live Jesus in all aspects of our lives! Let us says with great resound, Yes My Lord!

Pax.

Make a straight way!

I am the voice of one crying out in the desert, make straight the way of the Lord! John 1:23

Happy Gaudete Sunday! We celebrate Advent Joy today, yet we celebrate it in a time of much suffering and pain. The Pandemic of 2020 has taken a great toll on us. We need to have this joy that today offers.

St. John the Baptist had an internal Joy that situations could not conquer. This Joy was found in doing God’s Will in his life. This Joy awaited the coming of Jesus and he wanted to share that Joy with others. He encouraged people two thousand years ago to clear up their lives that they could be ready for Jesus. St. John does the same for us today!

Yes, we may be sad with the present situations in our lives and in the world, but St. John calls us not to stay in that sadness. Rather to turn it over to Jesus who will help us have the internal Joy that St. John had.

Happy Third Sunday of Advent!

Peace

Comfort, comfort my people, says your God!
Isaiah 40:1

We need Advent! This time of the Pandemic of 2020, we are experiencing Advent in a much different way, yet the Almighty wants to bring comfort to us in the pain that much of the world is experiencing right now.

Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill made low.
Isaiah 40:4

The Almighty with destroy everything that keeps the Almighty’s Presence from us. The Birth of Jesus is not only a historical event, it is a reality of our lives in the here and now! Jesus desires to be born in our lives right now!

Prepare the way of the Lord!
Mark 1:3

We must be able to receive the gift of Jesus in whatever struggles we may be going through and we know that this year is full of struggles. We may have the fear of losing everything. This is legitimate but when we stay in fear we are lost. If we prepare our lives to receive Jesus, we can move forward in Trust and help change our situation. There is hope!

May we be the Beloved Community that Jesus came and is coming to create! May we be one!

Happy Second Sunday of Advent!

We are blessings to each other and ourselves!

From a friend:

Embrace whose you are. You were fearfully and wonderfully made – on purpose with a purpose. God will NEVER leave you nor forsake. Because of His unconditional love, we are given grace and mercy – which is sufficient. Trust and believe in Him. You matter and you are loved. Blessings

Be Vigilant and Pray!

We begin the New Liturgical Year 2021 and our lives have been changed in ways never expected. We had to worship in ways very different from the past. We worshiped using a computer screen, a tablet or smartphone. When we could enter the Church building, we has to wear face coverings and keep six feet apart. Yet with these challenges, we still worshiped.

Liturgy is life! For believers prayer is the center of our being. From this center arises our actions. This First Sunday of Advent, we are reminded to stay alert. Alertness has saved our lives at all times, especially during the Pandemic of 2020. To be ready for our Lord’s return, we must be conscious of ourselves and our surroundings. In being prepared to receive the Lord we save our lives!

May this Advent help us to be prepared for whatever comes our way!

The Kingdom of Love!

Lord, when did we see you hungry?
Matthew 25:37

We conclude the Year of the Liturgy 2020 Sunday 21 November 2020. It has been a difficult year in many ways. The Pandemic of 2020 has created a time that we had to approach life differently. Yet we are here to talk about it. This year has given us the opportunity to experience our lives, and our faith in ways that required safe practices and creativity.

However one thing remains the same, Jesus Christ is King and expects us to love one another as He loves us!

As our High Holy Days approach, even in this new reality that we are living in, we must live as people who follow Christ the King! As we have been doing during this Year of 2020, we must utilize safe behaviors and still love one another.

We are called to be the Sheep of Jesus!

Let us encouraged one another in love and may all people see what Kingdom we are citizens of!

Reign OverLet Jesus Reign over us and may how we live bring His Kingdom more present in our World today!
