A thought for the day:

St. John, the Beloved Disciple, entered the Heart of Jesus and revealed that Heart to the World. Jesus wants us to live in love, but many have failed Him.

We choose to live in the Divine Community of Love even though we may be treated with hate. We choose to return love because those who hate us are following the way of the evil one. We choose to never join that one.

We may have to detach ourselves from many people, places and things in our lives. But never from our character. It is God’s love working in our lives.

Too many times we may try to see how our lives would have been different if we married that person, worked harder, etc. This is a mistake. It does not make sense. Life is what it is and if we are thankful that we have gotten to this point, let go! Begin a new chapter and use the lessons your life has taught you to this point. You are wonderful and live that way!

In our world the Dog eat Dog Ethic has taken hold. It now is a ethic that has no spirituality. It is removed from the Divine. Let us change this. If we all work for our success as a race, that is, the only true race, the Human Race. We can live the vision embodied in true love and peace.

Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?

Life is complicated enough, we do not have to make it more complicated. Our mind can we filled with things that we are not able to change or we can enjoy the moment.

If we choose to be faithful to ourselves, regardless of what people try to do to stop us, we will overcome their attempts at creating blockages to limit us.

I have the image of walking through a storm, we move ever forward.

Do not waste your time.

I say this from my life experience. Some people see us in a certain way and create a scenario that support their belief. I find it to be a waste of time to deal with it. Let us be ourselves and let them live their lie. The Truth sets us Free!

I saw that the Sermon on the Mount was the whole of Christianity for those who wanted to live a Christian life. It is that Sermon which has endeared Jesus to me. —Mahatma Gandhi
